My Rose Matcha Latte 🌹🍵

1–2 minutes

This rose matcha started as a little experiment and very quickly became one of my favorite drinks. The rose petal ice is almost too pretty to melt, but as it does, it slowly infuses the matcha with a subtle floral flavor. It’s simple, beautiful, and exactly the kind of tiny everyday ritual I love.

You’ll need:

  • Food-grade dried rose petals
  • Water
  • Ice mold: sphere or traditional cube molds both work

For rose ice spheres:
Add a few dried rose petals to each mold, fill with water, and freeze until solid. Easy! 🌹

For traditional ice cubes:
I found that a two-step freeze worked much better for keeping the rose petals distributed throughout the cubes. Fill each mold about halfway with water, add the rose petals, and freeze. Once frozen, fill the molds the rest of the way with water and freeze again until solid.
